At least five people were killed and two were injured after a Russian drone strike on a cross-country passenger train they were riding in Ukraine's northeastern Kharkiv region, authorities said.

"There is not and cannot be any military justification for killing civilians in a train carriage," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Telegram.

Two officers fired their guns during the fatal encounter with Alex Pretti in Minneapolis over the weekend, according to an initial report to Congress from the Department of Homeland Security reviewed by CNN.
